MORE ABOUT ME!

I accidentally hit a wrong button and submitted the last post before I was finished!

Anyway, to continue my story...

I own a business. Yes, I'm one of those crazy people who jumped off a ledge and left corporate world behind to start my own business. It's called Storage by Design and I design custom closets and storage systems. It is a fun business and people love what my installer and I do for them! We make their lives so much better!

There are a couple of hobbies/passions that fill a great deal of my time. I sing with the Emerald City Chorus, and am the lead in a quartet called Anticipation!. I also make jewelry and teach an occasional wire jewelry class.

So, you see, my life is crazy!!! If I miss a few days of posting, it is because I'm busy with my work or my chorus or my quartet, and will get to blogland as soon as I'm able.

I'm so happy to be part of the blogging world and very excited to begin making new friends!

I guess it's time to introduce myself a little more and tell you a bit about my busy life.

First, I'm married to the world's sweetest man. My husband's name is Rodney and we have been married almost 9 years. He is absolutely dear! We live in Kansas with our 2 Pomeranians, Puff and Star, and my old kitty, Smitty. (Sorry about the dark picture. It was taken in a dark restaurant!)

I have 2 grown children. My son, Keith lives very nearby and I get to go to his house a couple of times a week when he's working late and play with my grand-dog, Ruby.

I also have another grand-dog named Flek. He lives in Hawaii with my beautiful daughter, Sharon.

It's About Time!

I've been thinking about starting a blog for quite some time now, but have put it off. This evening just seemed like the time to jump in head first and do it. So with some trepidation, HERE I GO!!

I hope some of you experienced bloggers out there will give me some guidance and tips, because I have no idea what I'm doing!

For now, I'm just going to do a small post to get off the ground, but will soon tell a bit about myself. I plan to share some images and will show some of my artwork as well.
I'm posting a photo of an icon from the city in which I live. Can you guess my home?
